This year’s 19th annual Trout Parade was themed “Saturday Trout Fever,” and participants turned out in their finest 1970s garb, taking inspiration from the 1977 hit movie “Saturday Night Fever.”
Grand Marshal Peggy McGuire, director of the Livingston Manor Library, led off the procession on Saturday, June 14, followed by the LMCS Band and scores of floats, personalities and suitably-attired characters. At Renaissance Park, dozens of organizations and businesses touted services and wares. The weather threatened, but did not dampen festivities, and the appreciative crowd was once again huge.
Thanks to the Livingston Manor Chamber of Commerce for once again organizing another dynamite event!
