Important voting dates

Oct. 24-Nov. 1: In-person early voting at the Sullivan County Government Center (hours below).

Saturday, Oct. 26: Last day to register to vote in person, and last day to apply for mail-in or absentee ballots by mail. The post office recommends voters request mail-in ballots by mail at least 15 days before Election Day.

Tuesday, Nov. 5: In-person voting at polling locations from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., and last day to postmark or return mail-in ballots to the Board of Elections. Mail-in ballots must be received no later than Nov. 12 to be counted.

Voting by mail

To receive a mail-in ballot, go to ballotapplication.elections.ny.gov/home/earlymail and fill out an application online. You may also request a mail-in ballot by sending a letter to the Board of Elections, Sullivan County Government Center, 100 North St., Monticello, NY, 12701.

Voters wishing to vote early may do so at the Sullivan County Government Center, 100 North St., Monticello, during the following days and hours.

  • Saturday, Oct. 26: 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

  • Sunday, Oct. 27: 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

  • Monday, Oct. 28: 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

  • Tuesday, Oct. 29: noon-8 p.m.

  • Wednesday, Oct. 30: 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

  • Thursday, Oct. 31: noon-8 p.m.

  • Friday, Nov. 1: 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

  • Saturday, Nov. 2: 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

  • Sunday, Nov.. 3: 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

Where to vote on Nov. 5

On Election Day, Town of Rockland residents can vote in person at these two locations, one in Manor, the other in Roscoe.
