NY Forward committee calls for grant ideas
Town of Rockland, NY – In July, Livingston Manor was selected by the Mid-Hudson Regional Economic Development Council as one of the NY Forward awardees to receive $4.5 million.
The nine-month planning process for determining how the funds will be allocated will link the community’s goals, vision, and revitalization strategies to specific projects that have the potential to revitalize downtown Livingston Manor. This process will be guided by the town’s Local Planning Committee, which consists of local and regional leaders.
NY Forward provides an opportunity for stakeholders and community members to submit projects that may be considered by their LPC for inclusion in the NY Forward Strategic Investment Plan. Projects may range in cost and scale, from small improvements to large-scale construction projects.
All projects must be submitted through the Open Call for Projects. The Open Call for Projects will be open to the public through Friday, Oct. 23. To apply, visit livingstonmanornyforward.com.
